Fillmore/I-25 diverging diamond interchange
Construction has started on an innovative new interchange at Fillmore and I-25 to improve traffic flow and safety. Project funds include $1 million from voter-approved Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority funds. This video shows how the interchange will work. PPACG's Area Agency on Aging is accepting proposals to supply services to people 60 and over and to caregivers in El Paso, Teller, and Park counties.
Voucher program begins
The PPACG Area Agency on Aging initiated two voucher programs on July 1, open until June 30, 2015. The Caregiver Respite and the Senior Information and Assistance In-Home Voucher programs provide older adults and/or their caregivers with adult day care, in-home care, and personal care services.
