TAC Purpose
This technical advisory committee is composed of staff from the local governmental entities that make up the Metropolitan Planning Organization
and from the Colorado Department of Transportation. The Committee reviews transportation planning documents and provides technical advice and recommendations to
the PPACG Board of Directors and PPACG Staff. Committee meetings are held on the
third Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m. Special meetings are frequently scheduled for this Committee. Meetings usually last three hours.
The purpose of this committee is to provide technical advice and to recommend appropriate courses of action to the
Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments
Board of Directors and PPACG staff on current and emerging transportation issues, goals, plans, and programs affecting Planning and Management Region IV. The advice and recommendations will address at least the Transportation Improvement Program, Unified Planning Work Program, Long-Range Transportation Plan, and transportation program elements of the State Implementation Plan for Air Quality.
