Multi-Jurisdictional I/M
Transition Committee The
Multi-Jurisdictional I/M Transition Committee was formed to evaluate
the impacts and options to termination of the I/M Program. The
Basic I/M Program will be terminated beginning January 1, 2007 in El
Paso, Larimer and Weld Counties. This was a result of the February
2005 Colorado Air Quality Control Commission (AQCC) Regulation No.
11 Rulemaking Hearing.
The Committee is
open to whoever wants to participate and was formed through a
Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)
agreed to
by the Colorado Air Pollution Control Division (APCD) and the Lead
Air Quality Planning Agencies across the Colorado Front Range.
All committee
meetings are typically held on the first Wednesday of the month from
9:30 – 12:30 a.m.
in Denver at the Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC), unless
otherwise noted on the agenda shown below. Directions can be found

The Air Quality Strategy Evaluation Report was developed based on
the findings of the “Multi-Jurisdictional Inspection/Maintenance
Transition Committee” and can be downloaded below:

intended to provide information to policy and technical leaders
regarding air quality strategy implementation options to reduce
ozone concentrations along the Front Range, focusing on the Basic
Emission Program area.
