Green Transportation Infrastructure

Complying with state and federal regulations, PPACG links its air quality activities to transportation planning to prevent the increase of air pollutants. In 2006, PPACG took this collaboration further. The agency is now incorporating innovative, cutting-edge software called NatureServe Vista into its regional transportation plan to identify environmental mitigation needs and establish a balance between protecting local ecosystems and building transportation infrastructure.
