A Child Development Partnership Group has met throughout the Growth Plan effort to review and discuss issues related to the Child Development Resource Area. The group includes childcare providers, business/community leaders and representatives from Fort Carson. As of August 2011, the work of the Child Development Partnership Group will transition to Alliance for Kids, the early childhood council for El Paso County, and Children First, the early childhood council for Fremont and Pueblo counties. The Early Learning Committee of Alliance for Kids meets the second Tuesday of the month at 11:00 am.
