Moving Forward offers a vision and strategic framework for transportation in the Colorado Springs metropolitan area. The Plan, which spans three decades between now and the year 2035, identifies investment priorities for needs such as road capacity, bridge repair, transit improvements, freight movement, bike and pedestrian enhancements, and safety. It includes over 170 projects, ranging from road widening along Interstate 25 to additional bus/ rapid transit routes and bike paths--all of which add up to a balanced, fiscally constrained transportation system.
