MPO Boundary

Print PDF

In January 2010, Colorado Governor Ritter approved PPACG’s request for a Metropolitan Planning Area boundary change. Federal regulations require that MPO boundaries include all urban areas and areas that will become urban in the next 20 years. The 2000 Census determined that three areas outside the PPACG MPO had become urban. These locations are in the vicinity of Woodland Park, Green Mountain Falls, and Cascade. The maps below show the old and new boundaries.
