The PPACG AAA Mobility Management Program works with the Mobility Coordination Committee (MCC) to coordinate services and identify goals and emerging issues related to public, human service, and job-access transportation services in the Pikes Peak region. Committee members include transportation planning and funding agencies, transit service providers, PPACG member entities, and at-large community organizations.
In 2007, PPACG and the City of Colorado Springs completed the Human Services Transportation Coordination Study and Plan, documenting a study and planning process that provides an opportunity and an impetus for the region to make decisions about the next steps in coordinating transportation services. This Coordination Plan sets priorities for specialized transportation service projects and for transportation services oriented to serving employment trips. This strategic four-year plan for coordinating services meets the federal requirements for a coordination plan for the region.
