Communities Working Together
It is the mission of the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments, a voluntary organization of 16 counties and municipalities, to provide a forum for local governments to discuss issues that cross their political boundaries, identify shared opportunities and challenges, and develop collaborative strategies for action.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is made up of elected officials of our member governments, senior staff from state commissions on air quality, water quality, and transportation, representatives of local military agencies.
Community Advisory Committee
The committee is a nontechnical committee made up of volunteers who offer a citizen’s perspective on issues such as transportation, the environment, economic development, and military impact planning in the Pikes Peak region.
Regional Advisory Council
The Regional Advisory Council of the Area Agency on Aging consists of laypersons and service providers who represent the interests of older adults in the AAA Planning and Service Area of El Paso, Park and Teller counties, and advocate on their behalf.
Transportation Advisory Committee
The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) provides technical advice on transportation issues, goals, plans, and programs to the PPACG Board of Directors and staff.
Pikes Peak Commission on Aging
The purpose of the Commission is to advise and recommend to the PPACG Board of
Directors on matters regarding the development of an areawide system of advocacy and policy recommendations for older persons to enable them to maintain as much independence as possible.

Mobility Coordinating Committee
The Mobility Coordinating Committee coordinates transit grants and other resources and advises the PPACG board on current emerging issues related to public human service and job-access transit services in the region.
Air Quality Technical Committee
The Air Quality Technical Committee provides advice on current and emerging issues, goals, plans, and programs affecting the air quality of the Pikes Peak region
Water Quality Management Commitee
The Water Quality Management Committee advises PPACG on water quality issues, reviews site applications for wastewater treatment facilities, and reviews all requirements for amending the 208 Water Quality Management Plan.
