COLORADO SPRINGS – Retirement can be the start of a new chapter of life, and navigating the financial, legal, and health determinants can be intimidating without the right information. Reframing Retirement, a series of eight courses presented by the Pikes Peak Area Agency on Aging and Ent Credit Union, provides a range of information from experts on how to enjoy retirement. Topics covered include ageism, estate planning, Medicare, Social Security, costs associated, and overall health and wellbeing. These sessions also cover strategies for staying active and engaged in retirement.
“We’ve revamped the retirement series and added new sessions to reframe how we look at retirement as an exciting new and continued transition in life,” said Pamela Haugard of the Pikes Peak Area Agency on Agency. “Retirement should be an opportunity to create your best life going forward, with the key word being ‘create’. This series allows anyone to join the presenters on a journey to create a successful life in retirement.”
The eight webinars includes expanded information from previous years to offer a more in-depth view of what retirement can look like. Each webinar takes place on Mondays at 4 p.m. in August, September and early October:
