COLORADO SPRINGS – The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments is accepting comments on the Regional Freight Study.
In the spring of 2023, PPACG began the development of its first Regional Freight Study, with the goal of gaining a deeper understanding of the regional freight system and support future funding applications and planning initiatives. The study will be part of the 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan that is scheduled to be adopted by PPACG in early 2025.
The draft study is available for review at https://www.ppacg.org/RegionalFreightStudy. Comment will be accepted through Nov. 25, 2023, and can be done through an online form.
All comments received will be made available on the PPACG website after the public comment period ends. The comments received will be used during the approval process by staff and by the PPACG Board of Directors.
